Our Story

My name is Emily & I am the designer behind the brand Tait's Attire & the owner of this company. This company started on my sewing machine to fill my time while on maternity leave with my daughter Taitum. We packed up our lives in Kelowna, BC & moved north to Prince George, BC. Upon moving this is where I realized I could turn my hobby into a business. I found the baby & kids selection to be lacking. I had a hard time finding stylish clothes that would keep my babe warm during the long, cold winters. Over the course of the last couple years I have put together my favourite designs, & functional pieces that I have added to Taitum's closet to create Tait's Attire.

Tait's Attire is a home based business located in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. We offer eco-conscious clothing for baby & kids with comfort & playtime in mind. Our goal is to provide durable, stylish and on trend clothing that can be worn on any occasion. All of our items are made from luxury bamboo cotton which is sourced in Canada. Tait's Attire is 100% a one woman show (with support from my man, and inspiration from my daughter). I hand make all our clothes, package, ship, and do all the marketing from my home in Prince George. I hope you love our clothes, just as much as I have loved creating them!
